Salman Rushdie: Midnight’s Children

just finished reading one of the best novels I have ever known.

It’s a chutnification of the history of the Indian subcontinent in the 20th century.

It’s a masterpiece in the genre of fantastic realism.

It’s Abracadabra!

It’s „Anything you want to be, you kin be; you kin be just what-all you want“.

It is world literature.

It is history.

It is Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi.

It is Kashmiri.

It is Salman Rushdie’s „Midnight’s Children“.
